This policy explains what personal data MST Digital Studio collects on this website, what we use it for, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It is written in plain language, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is MST Digital Studio. For any question about your data, write to contact@mstdigitalstudio.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form: first name, last name, email, the services you choose and your message.
- Emails you send us: your address and the content of the message.
- Visit statistics (only if you accept cookies): pages viewed, where the visit came from, device type and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads.
We do not ask for sensitive data and we never sell data.
3. What we use the data for, and on what basis
- Answering your request and preparing a quote: pre-contractual steps you asked for (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Protecting the form against spam: our legitimate interest in keeping the website safe (Article 6(1)(f)). Messages are checked automatically, and those that look like spam are not answered.
- Measuring visits and campaign results: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. How long we keep the data
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to answer you and follow up on the project, and at most 2 years after the last contact if we do not end up working together. If we work together, we keep what the law requires (for example for tax purposes) for the legal period. Statistics data follows the periods listed in the cookies section.
5. Who we share the data with
Only with the service providers the website needs to run, who process the data on our behalf:
- Hostinger: website and email hosting, on servers in the European Union.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited): Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept cookies. Google may transfer data outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
6. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, or to withdraw the consent you gave. Just write to contact@mstdigitalstudio.com; we answer within one month at most.
If you believe your data was not handled correctly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files the website stores in your browser. We use two kinds:
- Necessary: they remember your cookie choice and keep the website working. They do not need consent.
- Statistics and advertising (Google Analytics and Google Ads): for example
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to 2 years, and_gcl_au, which lasts up to 90 days. They are only switched on if you click “Accept”. If you decline, Google only receives anonymous signals, without cookies.
You can change your choice at any time under Cookie preferences, in the website footer.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page, with the date at the top updated.
